Contribute System

The CFLFR
Fish Icon
Throughout the site, you will see that most content articles have the CFLFR fish icon at the end. This means that you can contribute your own thoughts, experience and knowledge to that article. When you click on the CFLFR fish icon, a tabbed folder pops down that lets you revise the text in that article.

When you are finished, click on the CONTRIBUTE button. That will post your revisions for approval. This step is necessary to insure that the site's content stays on topic and is free of spam.

Once approved, your revisions will go live and an email will be sent to you, letting you know and a link to the revised article.

At the bottom of most pages you will see the graphic below. If you want to add a new article to a section of the site, go right ahead. We will review your contribution and make sure that it is relevant useful content before approving and placing it online. You will be emailed as soon as it's posted.

The CFLFR Notepad

The CFLFR Notepad provides a quick glance view of new Contributions to the community. When you log-in, this shows up on the corkboard at the top of just about every page. In the Message Board, the Notepad displays links to the posts that fellow anglers and captains have made.
